Lambertville Faces Urgent Threats from Proposed LHS Development on Connaught Hill: Water Pollution, Flooding Risks, and Deforestation Highlight Community Concerns.

The future of Lambertville is at stake.

Here are some of the risks this development poses to our community:
  • Risk to Resident Well Water Pollution from disruption of the open Landfill and the burned-down Teflon product manufacturer on the Development SiteĀ
  • Increased Risk and Severity of Flooding in the City's downtown neighborhoods
  • Insufficient models for assessment of flood risks
  • No improvements to roads or pedestrian and vehicular access to the development
  • Increased Parking and Traffic problems with the addition of 400-500 vehicles to town with no addition of sidewalks or safe pedestrian access across 179
  • Equity issues with putting all Affordable Units in a segregated building and under separate management
  • 12 acres of deforestation and destruction of natural habitats, risk of slope instability, and an additional 1 million gallons of water with no place to go but downhill
